This is the 2025 Military Edition of Pendleton Whisky, made in honour of the United States Marine Corps. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The bottle is deep-etched with the words "Semper Fidelis" and "United States Marine Corps" alongside artwork. Pendleton releases a new design each year for a different branch of the US services, and a portion of the proceeds from this one goes to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which supports veterans and their families.
The nose is vanilla, honey and butterscotch with a hint of cinnamon. The palate is smooth, with ripe fruit, custard and light baking spice, leading to a long, soft, sweet finish with a touch of spice and oak.
