Penelope Barrel Strength 7 Year Old is a straight bourbon blended from four mash bills, each aged seven years in hand-selected new American oak barrels. Earlier Barrel Strength batches blended three. The mash bills are 70% corn, 23% rye, 5% malted barley and 2% malted rye.
It is bottled at 57.6% ABV (115.2 proof), uncut and non-chill filtered. The brand describes it as caramel syrup and subtle barrel char.
