Penelope Barrel Strength Bourbon (75cl)

Penelope Barrel Strength is a bourbon in a 75cl bottle, taking the brand's four grain blend and bottling it at full proof straight from the barrel. The mash bill combines corn, wheat, rye and malted barley. Strength varies from batch to batch, and each batch differs slightly in character. It is deep amber in colour. The nose offers caramel, toasted oak, vanilla, warm baking spice and soft fruit. The palate is bold and full, with caramelised sugar, toasted grain, cinnamon, honey and a touch of fruit sweetness. The finish is long and warm, with spice, oak and lingering caramel.
