The grain bill combines corn, rye, wheat and malted barley, and the spirit is distilled in column stills and matured in new charred American oak barrels. The nose is described as caramelised corn, vanilla bean and toasted oak, with rye spice, baked apple and a hint of citrus zest. The palate is full-bodied, with honey, brown sugar and butterscotch, then charred oak, black pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and warming, with oak, lingering spice and soft citrus peel.
