Penelope Bourbon Four Grain (75cl)

Penelope Bourbon Four Grain is a straight bourbon from Penelope Bourbon, distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and bottled by Penelope Bourbon Bottling Company in St. Louis. It comes in a 750ml bottle. Its mash bill uses four grains: wheat and rye are added to the usual corn and malted barley, which gives a more rounded, sweeter profile than a high-rye bourbon. The nose offers caramel, light vanilla, grain sweetness and soft baking spice. The palate is smooth and balanced, with caramel, vanilla and a little rye pepper. The finish is clean and of medium length, with lingering caramel and grain sweetness.
