Penelope Classic Series is a four-grain Kentucky straight bourbon, aged four years and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
The bourbon is a blend of three mash bills, built from 75% corn, 15% wheat, 7% rye and 3% malted barley.
The nose combines vanilla, caramel, sweet corn, honey, citrus peel, light oak and soft baking spice. The palate has caramel, vanilla, honey, toasted grain, orange zest, gentle rye spice and mellow oak. The finish is smooth and balanced, with lingering vanilla, corn sweetness, spice, citrus and light oak.
