Penelope Cooper Series Havana is a straight bourbon finished in Cuban rum barrels, released as a limited expression in the Cooper Series. It comes in a 75cl bottle and is built on a four-grain bourbon base, distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and bottled in St. Louis. The Cuban rum barrels add tropical fruit, molasses and sugarcane warmth to the bourbon. On the nose it is tropical fruit, molasses, caramel and vanilla. The palate brings caramel sweetness with molasses, tropical fruit and warm spice, and the finish is medium to long, with rum warmth and caramel.
