Penelope Four Grain Straight Bourbon (75cl, 40%)

Penelope Four Grain is a straight bourbon bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It is named after the founder's recently born daughter, and is blended from three bourbon mash bills. Each barrel is hand-selected and the barrels are combined into a single batch. The nose combines balanced corn sweetness, caramel, light oak and syrup with slight savoury notes. On the palate there is sweet fruit and grain, a little leather, and a hint of candied cream and cherry, alongside savoury vanilla with touches of berry and citrus. The finish brings buttercream icing and cornbread, with lingering vanilla spice.
