Penelope Rosé Cask Finish is a straight bourbon at 47% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It starts from the brand's Four Grain bourbon, made from 76% corn, 14% wheat, 7% rye and 3% malted barley, and aged for a minimum of 4 years. It then spends 4 months in hand-selected French Grenache rosé casks from the Southern Rhône. It was distilled in Indiana and is non-chill-filtered.
The nose is candied fruit and florals with vanilla and cream. The palate brings strawberry jam, vanilla bean and soft spice, and the finish is leather, ripe berry and warming spice.
