This is a four-year-old straight bourbon from Penelope, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle and not chill-filtered.
It is a blend of three bourbon mash bills, made up of 75% corn, 15% wheat, 7% rye and 3% malted barley. The whiskey was distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, then blended and bottled by Penelope Bottling Company in Bardstown, Kentucky.
The wheat is said to keep it soft. Expect caramel and vanilla with soft wheat bread, light oak and a touch of cinnamon in the middle of the palate.
