Penelope Toasted Series Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Penelope Toasted Series is a straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, made to a four-grain recipe of corn, rye, wheat and malted barley. It was distilled in Indiana by MGP and carries an age statement range of four to six years. After full maturation in charred new American oak, it is moved into a freshly toasted new barrel for finishing. Each batch uses a different char and toast, so bottles vary a little between releases. It is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) and is non-chill filtered. The nose is brown sugar and cinnamon pastry. The palate brings caramel syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, graham cracker and dried cherry, with a roasted marshmallow finish and slight spice.
