This is a wheated four grain straight bourbon from Penelope Bourbon, in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill uses corn, rye and malted barley, with wheat as the main secondary grain. It was distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
The nose has soft caramel, light vanilla, wheat sweetness and gentle floral notes. The palate is smooth, with caramel, vanilla, soft grain sweetness and a whisper of rye spice. The finish is clean, gentle and slightly sweet.
