This is a single cask Calvados distilled in 2016 at the Christian Drouin distillery in Normandy and bottled in 2023 for Little Brown Dog. It is a pays d'Auge, double pot distilled, and was matured fully in a white port cask. Cask strength at 47.8%, it comes in a 70cl bottle with natural colour and without chill-filtration. The outturn is 360 bottles.
The colour is avocado oil. The nose brings slivovitz, sour plums and caraway seeds. The palate shows toffee apple, chilled Chablis and runny honey, and the finish is gently saline with green apples and cinnamon.
