Peyrot Cognac XO is a 25-year-old cognac from the Cognac region of France, aged for 25 years in oak casks. It is presented in an elegant case.
The nose offers vanilla, dried fruit such as apricot and prune, cocoa, sweet spices including cinnamon and nutmeg, with light leather and tobacco notes. On the palate it is enveloping and velvety, with caramel and toasted wood accents.
The finish is long and persistent. It is suited to being enjoyed neat as a digestif.
