Philipponnat Grand Blanc Extra Brut Champagne (75cl)

Philipponnat Grand Blanc is an Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs champagne, made entirely from Chardonnay. The grapes come from the house's Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims and the Clos des Goisses. The first fermentation takes place in both steel and wood. The second happens in bottle, where the wine ages on its lees for at least 60 months before disgorgement and dosage. The nose is mainly floral and fruity, with citrus to the fore. The palate is full-bodied, deep and balanced, with a savoury edge and a long finish.
