Pierre Baillette Le Village de Trois Puits Premier Cru Extra Brut Champagne

This is an Extra Brut Premier Cru Champagne from Pierre Baillette, made from the village of Trois Puits in the Champagne region. The very low dosage gives a dry, pure style. It is made mainly from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and shows a pale straw colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose combines white flowers and citrus with a light touch of toasted bread. On the palate it is fresh and well balanced, with marked minerality and a creamy feel from the fine mousse. The finish is long, with notes of bread crust, mineral nuances and a slightly citrus aftertaste.
