Pignoletto Frizzante Colli Bolognesi DOC - Merlotta

A frizzante sparkling wine from Merlotta, with fine perlage and a bright straw colour. The nose shows fresh white flowers, green apple, light citrus and discreet herbal hints. On the palate it is savoury with good acidity and a slender body, with delicate bubbles. It finishes clean with fresh fruit and is best served young and lightly chilled, around eight to ten degrees Celsius. It pairs well with seafood starters, salads, light vegetable and fish first courses, and informal aperitifs.
