Pikesville Straight Rye (70cl)

Pikesville Straight Rye is a Kentucky rye whisky made by Heaven Hill Distilleries, in a 70cl bottle. Rye makes up the largest part of its grain mix. It is matured in American white oak, which adds vanilla and sweetness alongside the fresh, peppery edge of the rye. The nose is usually described as black pepper, cloves, caramel and baked apple. On the palate come spice and toasted notes, ending in a warm, lingering finish with a slightly herbal trail.
