Pilzer Acquavite di Pere Williams (50cl)

This is a pear eau de vie from Pilzer, a family-run distillery in Trentino that specialises in fruit spirits. It is made from Williams pears grown in the Trentino valleys, fermented and distilled with close control to keep the fruit character. Clear and bright in the glass, it smells of fresh, sweet Williams pear with delicate floral touches. The palate is soft and harmonious, balancing sweetness and acidity, with a pure pear flavour and a light freshness. The finish is clean and persistent, recalling the natural sweetness of the pears. It suits serving chilled after a meal as a digestif, and can also be used in cocktails.
