Pinhook 11 Year Old Vertical Series Straight Bourbon is the 2026 release in a series that follows one group of about 1,350 barrels from four to sixteen years of age. The barrels were sourced from MGP and have matured at Castle & Key Distillery in Kentucky.
This release is blended from 62 barrels and bottled unfiltered at cask strength, 114.4 proof (57.2% ABV), in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 75% corn, 20.5% rye and 4.5% malted barley.
The nose has burnt orange peel, molasses, white pepper and cedar. The palate brings ripe strawberry, crème brûlée, toasted almond and candied cinnamon. The finish is long and warming.
