Pinhook Flagship Bourbon Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (Orange Label) 2023 (75cl, 49%)

Pinhook Flagship Bourbon (Orange Label) is the 2023 release of a Kentucky straight bourbon from Pinhook, made at Castle & Key Distillery and blended by Master Blender Sean Josephs. It is bottled at 49% ABV in a 75cl bottle and is non-chill filtered. The grains are locally sourced and non-GMO, in a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye and 10% malted barley. It was distilled in a Vendome copper column still, aged for at least three years and proofed with Kentucky spring water filtered through limestone. The profile is allowed to change from one year's release to the next. The nose shows butterscotch, dried apricot and graham cracker. The palate brings coffee, roasted peanuts, candied cinnamon and crème brûlée.
