Pinhook High Proof Rye Whiskey 'Rye Munny' (75cl, 58.2%)

Pinhook High Proof Rye 'Rye Munny' is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, the 2022 vintage of Pinhook's annual high-proof release. It is bottled unfiltered at 58.2% ABV (116.4 proof), just under cask strength, in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 60% rye, 20% corn and 20% malted barley, distilled and aged at Castle & Key in Frankfort, Kentucky, and blended by Sean Josephs. The bottle is dedicated to Rye Munny, a Kentucky-bred chestnut filly. Orange blossom, honeysuckle, green apple and baking spice lead the nose. The palate is full and spicy, with walnuts, dates, spiced caramel and white pepper, and the finish is long and warming.
