Tiz Rye Time is a five-year-old Kentucky straight rye from Pinhook, bottled at 51.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It belongs to the Vertical Series, which follows how a single group of barrels changes with time.
The mash bill is rye-forward and the whiskey was matured in new charred oak.
The nose brings butterscotch, cardamom, dates and grapefruit. On the palate there is dark caramel, licorice, gingerbread and cracked black pepper.
