Pinhook Vertical Series 10 Year Old Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, bottled unfiltered at cask strength at 53% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The February 2026 release is a blend of 25 barrels chosen by Sean Josephs, aged at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley. The Vertical Series follows a single group of barrels year after year, and this is the tenth vintage of the rye. As with every Pinhook release, it is paired with a young thoroughbred, in this case Tiz Rye Time. It is described as having bold baking spice and rye grain, with caramel and vanilla sweetness underneath and a long, warming finish.
