Pinhook Vertical Series 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey 'Crème Brulee' (75cl, 57%)

This is a ten year old single barrel bourbon from Pinhook's 2025 Vertical Series, bottled from barrel 3580 at 57% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The nickname 'Crème Brulee' comes from the dessert-like character of the barrel. It was chosen through co-founder and master blender Sean Josephs' single barrel select programme. The mash bill is the Vertical Series recipe of 75% corn, 20.5% rye and 4.5% malted barley, and the whiskey is bottled on its own rather than blended with other barrels. The notes describe caramelised sugar and vanilla custard first, then butterscotch, with toasted oak and brown sugar on the finish.
