Pinhook Vertical Series 4 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey Tiz Rye Time (48.5%)

Pinhook Vertical Series Tiz Rye Time is a four-year-old straight rye whiskey, bottled at 48.5% (97 proof) from the 2020 crop. It is the first vintage in a series that follows a group of 450 MGP rye barrels as they age from four to twelve years, with a new batch of about 50 barrels blended each spring. The bottling is dedicated to Tiz Rye Time, a young colt who had run four races when this vintage was released. The aroma is tangerine peel, cinnamon stick and toffee, followed on the palate by dried apricot, molasses, toasted cedar and clove.
