Pinhook Vertical Series 8 Year is a straight rye whiskey aged for eight years. The rye is sourced from MGP in Indiana.
The Pinhook brand was founded by Sean Josephs, who worked in New York City restaurants, including Char No. 4 and Maysville, and later opened Kenton's in New Orleans. His love of food and bourbon inspired the label. The name is an old Kentucky term for buying and nurturing foals into champions.
