Pinot Grigio - Villa Russiz

The grapes are hand-picked at full ripeness in the coolest morning hours, then softly pressed as whole bunches. The free-run must is transferred to temperature-controlled fermentation tanks, and the wine rests on its fine lees for 8-9 months before bottling. It is straw yellow, fine and elegant, fruity and complex, developing a broad bouquet of fruit led by peach and pear, with notes of field flowers. It suits fish dishes, raw tuna and salmon, crustacean starters and light pasta dishes, and is appreciated as an aperitif.
