A 2021 Pinot Noir from Weingut Gottardi Mazzon, showing transparent ruby colour and good finesse. The nose favours small red fruits such as raspberry and cherry, with floral nuances, undergrowth hints and subtle mineral notes, plus light spice. The palate balances freshness and tannic structure, with a slender attack, smooth body and medium-light weight. The finish is clean, with fruity returns and a light savoury note. Serve around 14-16°C with cured meats, white meats, mushroom dishes and lightly aged cheeses.
