Pinot Noir - Spätburgunder Berchteim - Weingut Geil

A red wine from Weingut Geil, grown on the hills of Württemberg in Germany. Spätburgunder is the German name for Pinot Noir, and the cool microclimate and limestone soils give the wine harmonious structure and vibrant flavour. Careful fermentation and ageing in wooden barrels bring notes of cherry, ripe strawberry and light spicy nuances. On the palate it has a velvety texture, delicate tannins and a clean, persistent finish. It pairs well with white meats, game and soft cheeses.
