Plantation Australia Vintage 2007 is an aged rum from Beenleigh Artisan Distillery in Australia. The wash is fermented for 12 days and distilled in pot stills. It spends 13 years in former bourbon casks before finishing in Ferrand Cognac casks, giving a total age of 14 years.
It is bottled at 49.3% vol.
The nose shows apricot, peach, fresh hints of vanilla and a floral sweetness. The palate has baked fruit, light citrus and hints of cocoa, with a finish leading towards oak and exotic fruits.
