This is an aged rum from Barbados, made from sugar cane at the West Indies Rum Distillery, one of the island's oldest.
It is aged twice: first in ex-bourbon oak casks in Barbados, then in cognac casks in France. The second stage adds layers of aroma to the rum.
On the palate there is tropical fruit and sweet spice, with a soft note of vanilla. Caramel and wood sit comfortably alongside, giving a warm, rounded drink.
