Plantation Panama Single Cask 2010 Sherry Finish (50.5%)

This is a single cask Panamanian rum from Plantation, distilled in 2010 from molasses in a multi-column still at Las Cabras and bottled at 50.5% ABV. It belongs to the 2023 Single Casks limited edition. The rum spent 8 years ageing in bourbon casks in the tropics, then 4 years in Ferrand casks in the continental climate, and a final year in a Sherry cask. The nose and palate are fragrant and fruity, with walnut, custard, apricot, peach, lemongrass, undergrowth, vanilla, almond and leather.
