Planteray 'OFTD' Overproof Dark Rum (75cl, 69%)

Planteray 'OFTD' is a dark Navy-style overproof rum, bottled at 69% in a 75cl bottle. It follows the tradition of strong, full-bodied rums once favoured by sailors, and was developed by Alexandre Gabriel with rum specialists. It blends molasses-based rums from Barbados, Jamaica and Guyana. The Barbados rum is fermented for 72 hours and distilled in both twin column and pot stills. The Jamaican rum ferments for two weeks and is pot distilled, which brings deep, smoky notes. The Guyanese rum ferments for a week and is distilled in the Port Mourant pot still, adding dark sugarcane flavour.
