Platte Valley Corn Whiskey is made from 100% corn at McCormick Distilling in Weston, Missouri, a distillery founded in 1856. The spirit is matured for three years in American oak and comes in a traditional earthenware jug.
The nose is floral, with geranium, honeycomb, dried fruit and a hint of bread pudding. The palate is silky and light, with sweet corn, soft grain and gentle dried fruit, and it finishes dry and peppery, with minerals and warm cereal grain.
