Rosso Valtellina DOC from Plozza, made mainly from Nebbiolo, locally known as Chiavennasca.
Elegant ruby red, tending to garnet with age. The nose shows cherry and raspberry, violet and faded rose, with light spice and tobacco notes from wood ageing.
On the palate it has medium but persistent structure, integrated tannins and pleasant freshness, with a slightly almond finish.
