PO' di Poli Elegante (Pinot) (70cl)

A grappa from Distilleria Poli, distilled exclusively from Pinot pomace. It is presented in a 70cl bottle in a copper tube. Traditional distillation aims to capture the pure essence of the Pinot grapes. The result is a clear, bright spirit with a complex aromatic bouquet of ripe fruit, floral notes and a light trace of vanilla and almond. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with a sweet entry that develops into pleasant complexity and surprising freshness. The aromatic persistence is notable. It is suited to sipping after a meal, with not-too-sweet desserts or blue cheese, or as a base for sophisticated cocktails.
