An Italian brandy from the Poli distillery in Veneto, produced by distilling selected wine. It is aged for over 10 years in oak barrels.
Its colour is an intense amber with golden reflections. The nose opens with deep, complex aromas of candied fruit, vanilla and sweet spices such as cinnamon and clove. On the palate the texture is velvety, with flavours of dried fruit, honey and chocolate, followed by an elegant oak touch from the long ageing in barrique.
The finish is long and pleasantly aromatic. It is suited to sipping after a meal or as a base for sophisticated cocktails, and pairs well with chocolate or dried-fruit desserts.
