An Italian brandy from the Poli distillery, founded in 1898 in Schiavon near Bassano del Grappa in Veneto. It is distilled from wine in traditional copper stills, then matured in small oak casks.
It shows cooked fruit, vanilla, light cocoa and almond notes, with a balance of fruit sweetness and spice, and a long, warm finish. It is suited to sipping neat after a meal or as a base for cocktails.
