Poli – Segretario di Stato (70cl)

Segretario di Stato is a whisky from the Italian distillery Poli, in a 70cl bottle with a wooden case. It takes the Scottish whisky tradition and gives it an Italian interpretation, with maturation in carefully chosen casks. The nose is malty, with a light trace of peat beneath vanilla and sweet spice. The palate opens soft and almost velvety, then turns full-bodied with some warmth from the spirit. The finish is long and warm.
