Port Askaig Cask Strength is an Islay whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled without dilution at cask strength. It is matured in selected casks. On the nose, peat smoke is balanced by iodine, seaweed and a light sweetness of toasted malt. The palate is warm and full-bodied, and the finish carries a salty, almost mineral note with some spice.
