Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is a heavily peated Islay single malt made at Bruichladdich and aged for ten years. It was matured in bourbon and sherry casks, and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines peat smoke and a hint of sweetness with vanilla, chocolate, coastal herbs and light salinity. The palate is dense and rich, with lasting peat alongside ripe fruit, honey and subtle spice. The long finish returns to smoke.
