Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from 100% Scottish barley grown in Inverness-shire. The whisky matured in first-fill American whiskey casks (65%), second-fill American whiskey casks (10%) and second-fill French wine casks (25%).
The nose brings oak, smoke, caramel, vanilla, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and citrus. The palate has smoke, coconut, vanilla, honey and salt, and the finish carries smoke, caramel, mango, orange and apricot.
