A 10-year-old Islay single malt from Port Charlotte, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines dry, earthy peat-ash smoke with a marine, ozone character, alongside golden caramel, fudge, vanilla custard, ginger, nutmeg and clove. With a drop of water, lemon meringue and clementine appear, followed by floral hints of wild thyme, heather and sea pink.
The palate is soft and delicate, with smoke wrapped loosely around coconut, vanilla custard and lemon honey, plus smoked oysters and salty sand. The finish is smoky and sweet, with fudge, malted barley, orange, mango, banoffee pie, ripe apple and apricot.
