A 12 year old Port Charlotte single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, bottled for the 2016 Feis Ile at 55% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is heavily peated, at 40ppm, distilled in tall stills and matured in a single French oak cask. Only 300 bottles were released.
Tasting notes describe intense smoky peat with hints of rich vanilla, then layers of subtle spice and a smooth, elegant finish.
