Port Ellen – 1983 32 Year Old 15th Release (70cl)

Port Ellen 1983 32 Year Old is a single malt from Islay, issued as the 15th Diageo Special Release in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 1983, the year the distillery fell silent, and is among the last spirit produced before its closure and later demolition. Port Ellen's malt was once a quiet contributor to blends, and came to be regarded as one of Islay's finest. The distillery has since been rebuilt, though it will be many years before the new spirit can be judged.
