This Port Ellen was distilled in 1982 and is 35 years old. Signatory Vintage released it to mark its own 30th anniversary, bottling it at cask strength, 55.1% ABV. The Port Ellen distillery closed the following year, in 1983, and this was among its last bottlings. Its aromas and flavours are described as elegant and delicate, yet also rich and complex.
