Porto Reserve Ruby - Quinta de Carvalhas (75cl)

A ruby port from Quinta de Carvalhas, produced in the Douro region. Made mainly from local native varieties, it has an intense, vibrant ruby colour, with vinification and moderate ageing in large wooden casks. The nose offers ripe red fruits such as cherries and blackberries, with pleasant spicy and lightly floral notes. The palate opens with sweetness balanced by fresh acidity and soft tannins, giving an elegant, enveloping sensation. It pairs well with chocolate desserts, red fruit tarts and aged cheeses.
