Porto Tawny - Fonseca (75cl)

A tawny port from the Douro in Portugal, made mainly from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. It is aged for a prolonged period in wooden casks, giving it an intense mature character. The colour is warm amber, with aromas of dried fruit, caramel, honey and sweet spices, plus a pleasant softness on the palate and freshness despite its sweetness. It suits meditation or pairing with chocolate desserts, nut tarts and aged cheeses.
