Powers Gold Label is an Irish blend of pot still and grain whiskey, made at the Midleton Distillery. The Powers name dates back to 1791. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey is triple distilled and aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks.
The nose offers honey, vanilla and ripe fruit, with soft touches of caramel and toasted wood. The palate is full, with cinnamon, black pepper, malt and brown sugar, leading to a warm, long and lightly spiced finish.
